Recurated is a peer-to-peer fashion marketplace where buyers and sellers across Malaysia come to trade secondhand clothing, shoes, and accessories. We're fashion-only — which means everything about how we're built, from the way listings work to how disputes are handled, is designed with fashion in mind.
We launched in 2026 in Kuala Lumpur with a straightforward belief: the secondhand fashion market in Malaysia was broken, and it didn't need to be. General platforms buried fashion listings between used appliances and furniture. Sizing was an afterthought. Sellers had no real protection. Buyers had even less. We set out to fix that.

We made a deliberate decision when we built Recurated: selling is completely free. Not free with hidden conditions, not free for a trial period — free, full stop. Malaysian sellers pay zero selling fees on every single item they list and sell on Recurated.
We believe taking a cut of every sale discourages exactly the behaviour we want to encourage: more people clearing their wardrobes and putting good clothes back into circulation. When it costs nothing to sell, there's no reason not to.

We're headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, with a second office in Penang that doubles as our authentication centre — where our team inspects and verifies higher-value items before they ship to buyers anywhere in Malaysia.
Built by someone who felt the problem firsthand
Recurated was founded by Juergen Lee after years of frustrating experiences on both sides of the secondhand fashion market — buying items that arrived the wrong size with no recourse, and trying to sell perfectly good clothes on platforms that simply weren't built for fashion. He built the platform he wished had existed.
